Hi paper crafting friends, I haven't been on my blog in a few months, due to my house hold being a little crazy, right now. I recently observed someone, at a stamping event, creating quilt styled cards, so I thought I'd give it a try. I really enjoyed making quilts, in the past, but I never actually finished a few I started. I decided to try my hand at the paper crafting quilting, instead.
I cut 7- 3/4x 1/2" Strips of very vanilla, and of assorted DSP.
Then cut those strips into 1/2 Squares. I drew out a scrap grid and lined them up on that to decide my pattern.
Snailed each square down on very vanilla strips, the Snailed the strips on my card front.
I stamped my sentiment and cut it out. Then used the Scallop Tag topper to punch the top, and added pumpkin pie ribbon.
I stamped using the baby wipe technique and the Flower Shop stamp set.
If you are interested in the details, I can send them to you via email.
I'm going to experiment with more designs, so you will be seeing more soon!
Thanks! Have a great day!
